Mozambique Health Assessment Mission - August, 1988

In August of 1988, a delegation of American physicians, public health representatives and government officials traveled to Mozambique to provide an objective evaluation of the impact of the war on the health of the population and the health care system of the country. The trip resulted in many new Mozambique funding initiatives and programs.
